Presenting the Powerful and Supremely Fast 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

August 21st, 2017 by

In mid-August, Jeep ® announced that customers may begin ordering the 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk — the quickest and most powerful SUV ever. Manufactured at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit, this exciting new Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will be arriving in dealer showrooms this fall.

The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk teams the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission to manufacture a vigorous 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. With a top speed of 180 mph, the SUV can run a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and a quarter mile in 11.6 seconds, so make sure to save the lead foot for your local track.

With that kind of serious speed and power, you need emphatic stopping ability. That’s why the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk features the largest standard front brakes ever offered on a Jeep, with a high-performance Brembo braking system providing 60-0 mph braking performance of 114 feet.
